How much does hot tub repair cost in San Diego?
Most common repairs fall between $300 and $1,100 — a jet pump replacement typically runs $850–$1,100, a heater assembly $550–$800, and a topside control panel $400–$800 depending on brand. Every job starts with a $175 diagnostic visit, after which you get one written, fixed price for the complete repair.
Why do you show price ranges instead of exact prices?
Because honest pricing depends on your specific spa: pump horsepower and frame size, brand, voltage, and how accessible the equipment bay is. The range tells you what most jobs cost; your written quote after diagnosis is exact and fixed — and that is the price you pay.
Do you charge by the hour?
No. After diagnosis, we quote the complete job as one fixed price — parts, labor, and testing included. If the job takes longer than expected, that’s our problem, not your bill.
What does your warranty cover?
Labor is warrantied for 30 days — if our repair isn’t right, we come back and fix it free. Parts carry the full manufacturer warranty, which is one year on most major components. If a warrantied part fails, you only ever pay labor, and only after the first 30 days.
Why not just go with the cheapest quote?
Ask what happens in week three if the repair fails. Low-ball operators often quote cheap, install the cheapest part they can find, and stop answering the phone when something weeps or trips. Paying twice — once for the cheap repair and once for the real one — is the most expensive way to fix a hot tub. Our prices include coming back if anything isn’t right.
